issue UOM is M2 and base UOM is PC. When converting PR To PO error of UOM

The item's contented UOM is M2 (since it's portion of the BOM), and the basal UOM is PC. When converting PR to PO, it auto-converts to M2, adjacent though PR shows it arsenic PC. How tin we guarantee that PO besides remains successful PC?
