IO in Asset not updated in PO after user replaced the IO with a new IO number in Asset Master

Good day,

We make an Asset PO successful SAP with the incorrect Internal Order. The IO successful the PO is derived from the IO maintained successful the Asset Master A1. The IO tract successful the relationship duty tab of the PO is greyed off.

We realized that the IO fig is entered wrongly successful the Asset Master A1 and proceed to close it.

However, this corrected IO was not updated successful the PO. We proceed to region the Asset A1 from the PO via ME22N and participate the aforesaid plus fig again, but the close IO was not updated.

Next, we proceed to execute the pursuing steps:

we participate different plus fig - A2; the IO was updated to the IO fig maintained successful plus fig A2
we region Asset A2 and replaced with Asset A1. The IO was yet updated.

My question is this the modular behaviour of SAP? We request to execute the supra 2 steps successful bid to update the IO successful the PO?

Is determination immoderate mode to update the IO for Asset successful the PO without performing the 2 steps?

The basal origin is due to the fact that of missing configuration oregon we request to bash enhancement for this successful bid to car update the IO for plus successful the PO?
