This is going to be purely city car and will never go outside this radius. I have a Tata Zest manual Diesel which is not good for city traffic especially in peak hours. All the samples in south India is 4L+ for cars less than 5 years & <70k km and it is too high for eVerito. I found lot of good deals in Delhi and there is one solid lead in Gurugram which I want to grab. Booked a gomechanic pre owned car inspection scheduled (today - 27/05/2024) and will be travelling to Delhi next week to arrange for payment and shipment. Meanwhile, I would like to understand what are the precautions and activities to ensure a smooth and hassle free purchase and transportation to Chennai
Unfortunately I do not have any friends who can do the support down there so I have to travel to Delhi and want to do all the process in one day. So want to plan and prepare all before taking the flight from Chennai. Vehicle is in Atul kataria Chowk and this is going to be a fun experience as I do not know the local language and have to do all in one day Thanks in advance! |

A Delhi E Verito with low mileage sounds fishy to me - chances are the Odometer would be tampered. Possibly you could ask for the service records to establish a timeline for the ODO / vehicle, if you haven't done this already. Don't want to discourage you - just be wary. |

Just checked with Mahindra Service center and they confirmed that the vehicle has 113k on the ODO as of March-2024. I think I'll scrap the idea and look something local. |

In my view (at the risk of sounding biased) - Delhi / NCR & Mumbai vehicles are mostly ODO Tampered, especially the ones available through dealers. It is worth paying a bit more and buying from Chennai / Bengaluru as chances of fraud are lesser. |
