Actor Imran Khan: Reads Team-BHP, sold Ferrari, got modded VW Polo
Big shoutout to Zalaps for sharing this article from Indian Express .

I’ve always been into cars, and I always fantasised that I would be that guy who could open the hood and… I spent a lot of time on Reddit, on Team BHP, and I dove into the thing.
He also said:

Imran said that he once owned a Ferrari, but let it go because he realised that it didn’t mean anything to him and he couldn’t drive it around Mumbai anyway.....Genuinely, I have gotten more pleasure out of working on my Volkswagen Polo than I would get from the monthly drives that I’d do in my Ferrari.”
A complaint I have heard from many Supercar owners. Most of them become garage queens after the initial obsession is over, come out barely once in a week / fortnight / month and become Point A -> Point A cars. Owners (sometimes, chauffeurs) just take the car out for a round and park it back. It's also why the Urus is the best selling Lamborghini in India. It's why the Cayenne is the best-selling Porsche in India. It's the reason behind the popularity of Fast SUVs (AMGs & the like).
We even wrote an article on why Supercar sales are terrible in India, and just don't make sense - link (Why Supercar sales are so woefully low in India (relative to the overall market size)).
