Which Excellent mileage oriented hatchback?

My dada plans to regenerate his Sonet iMT Turbo Petrol. Rationally (There are immoderate irrational reasons that is driving the request for replacing Sonet, unluckily can't stock those here)speaking determination is lone 1 contented with this car, i.e. the debased mileage helium gets (10 KMPL successful Pune traffic, I get 12-14 successful aforesaid region). Somehow helium is not capable to extract much mileage from it.

He has shortlisted the Fronx Delta + MT (NA motor) and Baleno Zeta MT. He expects to get 16-18 kmpl from some these cars.

Any different car I should checkout? Budget is nether 10L and can't beryllium stretched. It has to beryllium a manual transmission. No to AMTs. CVT/AT tin beryllium considered.
Fuss free, inexpensive ASS and large mileage are premier requirements. Everything other comes later.
