Delay in dispatching Passport by the Indian Embassy in the US

My member who is staying successful the US had applied for a Canadian Visa. After the completion of each the VISA procedures, helium had submitted the passport for VISA intent to the Indian Embassy sometime towards the extremity of May. However, until date, helium has received nary update. Neither connected Visa nor connected Passport.
